The growing adoption of bicycle as a utilitarian mode of daily transport in numerous urban settings necessitates the development of infrastructure with the specific requirements of cyclists. This study formulates improvement priorities for the bicycle lane on Suroto Street by evaluating user perceptions and preferences using IPA and QFD approach. User perceptions and preferences were collected through questionnaires and processed into Voice of Customer to generate the House of Quality (HoQ). The analysis identified key service gaps such as poor pavement and insufficient signage. Priority technical responses include adding type N bicycle racks with security and CCTV, reactivating bike-sharing stations, and repainting lane markings with yellow thermoplastic paint. These results emphasize the need for enhanced supporting facilities and visibility to improve cyclist safety and satisfaction. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
