Road infrastructure is essential for fostering economic expansion and regional development, particularly in improving connectivity and accessibility between regions. Road connectivity and accessibility are interrelated concepts and are crucial for assessing the performance of transportation networks. The purpose of this study is to examine the level of road connectivity and accessibility in Malang Regency, which is one of the supporting centers of national activities in East Java. The research method used is a quantitative approach by calculating the connectivity index and road accessibility index. The results show that Malang Regency has a road network with a connectivity index value of 1.181, which indicates a high level of connectivity between sub-districts and an accessibility index value of 0.00933 which is categorized as not in accordance with the existing parameters of 0.50. Therefore, recommendations are obtained in the form of adding alternative roads in Malang Regency in the form of Alternative Road which shows an increase in road connectivity and accessibility. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
