The selection of research projects in the university environment for students is something that needs to be done carefully. Mistakes in choosing a research project can cause delays in students achieving graduation on time because the project is not in accordance with their interests and abilities. Therefore, this research is intended to support accurate decision making for students in choosing a research project to be done. This research uses 5 (five) alternatives and 4 (four) assessment criteria in solving the case of selecting research projects in the university environment for students. The method applied to select the most prioritized research project in the university environment in this study is MFEP. In the results of this study, it can be seen that Alternative A005 (0.3482) is the most prioritized research project in the university environment because it has the largest value among other alternatives. © 2026 Author(s).
