This study uses a systematic literature review (SLR) methodology to explore the integration of smart healthcare systems within smart cities, focusing on Indonesia's new capital city (IKN) development. Initially identifying 1734 relevant database entries, the study filters down to 46 included journals. This study identifies gaps in existing literature and proposes practical solutions for smart health development in Indonesia's new capital city. Through a detailed literature review, it evaluates previous research and features the importance of smart health integration for community well-being. Telemedicine emerges as a vital component, facilitating remote consultations, health monitoring, and emergency response. However, challenges such as data privacy, service quality, analytics, cost, and integration with traditional systems need addressing. Overcoming these challenges requires collaborative efforts, infrastructure investment, and technical advancements to ensure the success of smart health initiatives. © 2024 IEEE.
