Biogas unit (BGU) is a biogas and organic sludge producer from organic waste. All the BGU products are zero consumable waste, and the output is organic sludge that is useful for animal or fish feed ingredients and plant fertilizer. Although biogas combustion can increase greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions, its CO2 output can be decreased by utilizing the BGU output as plant fertilizer. In addition, it will increase the reproduction of other organisms that utilize plant products, including honeybees. The study aimed to identify the importance of BGU and GHG production and its reduction related to the role of honeybees. It is well-known that the GHG production from BGUs is high. GHGs are reduced because of BGU product utilization to fertilize plants and support honeybees. Honeybees can utilize plant nectar and pollen in a wild, virgin forest habitat that has not been contaminated and remains natural.
