Abstract

Halal supply chain traceability and food safety are critical issues in the food industry, especially in Indonesia, which has the largest Muslim population in the world. This study aims to develop a halal supply chain traceability and food safety model based on Blockchain and Internet of Things (IoT) that can improve transparency, efficiency, consumer trust in food products, and support sustainable development. This study proposes a conceptual framework for a halal supply chain traceability and food safety model based on Blockchain and IoT technologies. This model is expected to help Indonesia address issues related to halal assurance and food safety. © 2025 by the authors.
