Abstract

This paper reports result of the effect of temperature on thick film conductor resistance value, where is sensor indicator. Argentums Palladium (PlAg) paste as a conductor is printed on Alumina substrate. The result of measurement shows that the effect of atmosphere is significant to non-encapsulated PlAg paste, there are 0.3 Ω encapsulated conductor resistance and 0.7 Ω non-encapsulated conductor resistance. PlAg conductor which is used in this research is linear, and α = 6.519377 × 10-4 resistance coefficient, and has 0.2 Ω hysteresis at -20°C until +55°C temperature range. © 2003 IEEE.
