Abstract

Krueng Tiro River was the biggest river in Pidie Regency, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province, Indonesia. This paper studied conservation in this location. Conservation was due to analysis of erosion and sedimentation spatially. This analysis used software: AVSWAT 2000 (version 1.0). Analysis in Krueng Tiro watershed was divided into 33 sub-watersheds. Result could be used as a consideration in increasing check dam and in management and maintain watershed so that the watershed was not damaged.
