The hypotheses that were developed in Chap. 3 should be tested using a relevant research method to achieve the objectives of this study as presented in Chap. 1. Hence, this chapter provides the explanation relating to the research method used, which include sampling method, sources of data, variables and measures, as well as the data analysis method. This chapter is organized as follows. Section 4.2 discusses the data setting while Sect. 4.3 provides a discussion and reports on the data and sampling used in this study, Sect. 4.4 reports the sources of data. The discussion on data analysis is presented in Sect. 4.5 while Sect. 4.6 presents the variables and measures, including the justifications for using them. The mathematical models are presented in Sect. 4.7, and Sect. 4.8 summarizes the content of this chapter. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2015.
