The quantification of ultrafine particle emission factors for the following common motor bikes of the different type operated using the fuel of Premium 88 and Pertamax 92 has been stud-ied. The results show that the ultrafine particle emission fac-tors depend on the type of motor bike and the kind of fuel. Motor bikes operated using Pertamax p2 produce ultrafine particles with higher emission factors than those run using Premium 88. For motor bikes operated using Pertamax 92, the ultrafine particle emission factors are in the range of 6.7 × 1011 to 8.5 × 1012 particles/liter. The emission factors of ul-trafine particles produced by motor bikes running using Pre-mium are varied from 1.3 × 1012 to 11.1 × 1012 particles/liter. © Research India Publications.
