Abstract

The main public transportation in Bogor is named 'angkot'. All of that public transportation operates around the city. But there's also a number of public transportation that operates from the core to the outer of the city. The fare of public transportation is a flat fare, Rp2000, - both for long trip or short trip. Public transportation 08 is one of public transportation that has a longer trip than another. Its route is from Citeureup (outer area of Bogor) to Pasar Anyar (inner area of Bogor). The purpose of this research is to identify whether the fare of public transportation 08 is adequate enough to the user, owner, and worker. Because public transportation 08 has a longer trip but the fare is indiscriminate. This research uses vehicle operational cost (VOC) to analyze the adequate fare. This paper provides the adequate public transportation fare which fair to the owner, user, and also worker. That will be compared with the existing fare. Remember that role of public transportation is important, especially in high-density area, this findings should encourage government to rearrange the fare of public transportation.
