Abstract

Web-based applications can be accessed from anywhere at any time as long as the user is connected to the internet and works on a different platform. Besides for media information, website in educations is used for teaching and learning activities or known as e-learning. The benefits of using e-learning are student can learn anytime and anywhere, but when internet connection has a problem the benefits is not reached. In the implementation, e-learning highly depends on a stable internet connection. If there is a disruption in internet access, e-learning system is not working properly. Delay and disruption tolerant networking (DTN) can overcome that problem. In this paper, an e-learning system with DTN approach is proposed. We evaluate our system using several network condition and the result is a proposed e-learning system adaptive to disruption network and does not cause disadvantage when users working on the online quiz. © 2017 IEEE.
