Long Term Evolution (LTE) is the 4th generation technology-based Internet Protocol (IP) which is the development of previous UMTS (3G) and HSPA (3.5G) technologies with speed and spectral efficiency improvements from previous technologies. This research proposed the design of LTE network using a 700 MHz frequency which is the most ideal frequency for LTE in Indonesia, the wide area coverage, bandwidth availability, and small propagation loss value. The 700MHz frequency is expected to be ready in 2020. The 700 MHz-LTE design is implemented along the Cipali toll road with a distance of 116 km. Design refers to the calculation of coverage and capacity dimensions to determine the number of eNodeB. This design was carried out using the Atoll software with the Okumura-Hatta propagation model. Dimensional calculations show that the number of 11-eNodeBs is needed in planning. © 2018 IEEE.
