The environment stability is a critical factor of successful plantation. Porang (Amorphophallus muelleri Blume), as one of industrial plantation, requires good environment for good harvesting product. To maintain the stable environment, a good monitoring system on close range of area (microclimate) is essential. This paper presents the implementation of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) based monitoring system for Po rang plantation. Communication between sensor node and sink node used LoRa, and the data transmission from sink node to the server utilized GPRS-GSM technology. The results of the implemented system have worked successfully and given the successful transmission rate of 94.07 %. © 2018 IEEE.
