Microseismicity was investigated around the Cangar, Arjuno-Welirang volcano-hosted geothermal complex. The goals were to determine the distribution of the epicenter and hypocenter of a microearthquake that changed in spatio-temporal and distribution of Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA). To determine the epicenter and hypocenter, analysis of the frequency spectrum was applied to seismic signals to determine the range of dominant frequency values of the event. Then, it was filtered by the band-pass filter to get the original signal of the event. This research obtained a microseismic frequency in the range of 12-24 Hz, depth of the shallow source in the range of 4-264 meters, while the deeper sources were located at a depth of 985-2152 meters. The distribution of PGA values around the Arjuno-Welirang volcanic complex was in the range of 15.02-21.80 Gal. © 2018 Author(s).
