Abstract

The major problem in the application of the RoF (Radio over Fiber) is related to nonlinearity characteristic. The proposed approach offers improve transmission component and optical fiber system to applied high frequency dithering technique method to combine single forward pumping laser with energizing optical energy to excite the electrons to reduce distortion from nonlinear effects. Application of those could be expected to be able to produce power maximum and a good constellation for lower OLP (Optical Launch Power) based on varied linewidth. The simulation result showed that the increase of power achieved 0.54 % on the peak power -36.61 dBm and frequency 5.403x 109 Hz. The best SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) achieved 64 dB and EVM (Error-Vector-Magnitude) 0.125 % for OLP -8 dBm on linewidth 0.15 MHz and maximum optical fiber in the length of 100 km. © 2018 IEEE.
