Abstract

IoT middleware is developed to support syntactical interoperability and semantic interoperability. Semantic interoperability is the process of sending data that refers to the content and context of the data sent. However, previous research on middleware is limited to syntactical testing, therefore in this research semantic testing is carried out, with various data type i.e, images, animation and videos. Based on the test results, the middleware is able to accept various data types and there is a statistically significant difference in delay, jitter and throughput score among various data types. © 2018 IEEE.
