Information Technology (IT) governance and control structure is used as the alignment of IT functions and business goals. One of the business goals of PT. PLN Kediri is optimization of business process functionality. This study discusses an evaluation of IT governance in PT. PLN Kediri using COBIT 5 framework on three domains, namely APO08, BAI02, and BAI07 to achieve the company goals. The results show that the level of capability in PT. PLN Kediri is at level 1 (performed process). This study contributes to the evaluation results and recommendations to improve the capability level domain of APO08, BAI02, and BAI07 in PT. PLN Kediri, so the company can make the IT infrastructure development planning procedures in accordance with the domain of COBIT 5. The method of this research was initiated based on framework COBIT 5 to assess the process with the selected domain corresponding enterprise goal. © 2018 IEEE.
