Abstract

One of the requirements to obtain diploma degree of D-IV Nursing Program of Health Polytechnic, Department of Health, Malang is completing the thesis. While the fast or not in completing the thesis is influenced by the selection of topics in accordance with students's abilities. But in reality, there are many students who choose the topics with less appropriate to their abilities. The descripancies will have an impact on students graduation and the graduation rate also has an affect on the accreditation value of the study program in the institution. Based on the description of the problem, the authors conducted a research recommendation system of thesis topics selection based on Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) and Fuzzy Network Hierarchy Process (F-ANP), Case Sudy: D-IV Nursing Program of Health Polytechnic, Department of Health, Malang. The research results showed that F-AHP method had an excess time of 0.2561 second faster than F-ANP method during the recommendation process. In addition, the F-ANP method had an accuracy rate of 18% higher than the F-AHP method in terms of the results system accuracy with experts recommendations. © 2018 IEEE.
